What is it with me and dreams lately?! -_-;

I dreamt Tati got fired from her job, at some hotel named Rhysor.
I'm pretty sure no such hotel exist, so yea, what the heck?

And then from that dream, it jumped to me getting married.
WHAT THE FREAKING HELL?

So the guy technically fits Baba's criteria - stable job, won't abuse me, will take care of his eldest princess.

But it's a low-paying job [can't remember exactly what it was], but I wasn't too bothered about that. I was fine with bringing in the dough, as long as he helped chip in as well.

What bothered me was the fact that he was so eager to be a dad. O_O
And to be a house husband after that, while I continue working after that.
Part of his excited chatter about me being pregnant reminded me of Sham, the way he found pregnant women hot, in a natural kind of way. [Again, total WTF moment here.]

Come to think of it, he did look a little like Sham in my dreams.
Not as cute, but definitely with elfin features. Whaaaat.
And though I was a little weirded out by that, I was happy in the dream, to have someone who loves me, and for me to love like crazy back.

Why do I keep having weird dreams though?
-Headdeskbang-

And damnit, J. Lo! You and your cheeky nonsense!
It's been ages since I was near enough to hear you in rounds, so I wasn't too sure if your voice that night on-call was your new normal voice, or if you were sick. YES I FIND IT DAMN SEXY! KEEP TALKING!!!

I dreamt I died.
I can't remember if it's a recurring dream, because I only recall the last one vividly, but it felt like I've had
this dream several times recently.

Apparently I was knocked down on my way back to the main building, from CDC 2.
Except that the road reminds me more of Tampines' old interchange, instead of that narrow strip across the ED. [If you get knocked down at that strip, you must be really unfortunate, hah!]

I had a fractured leg, but I guess I died of head injuries since the leg was the only obvious injury I had. According to the dream, I was in ICU for 4-6 weeks. O_O And then I died.

So anyway, I started the dream by being in the ward.
Weirdly enough, my nurses could sense me, though they couldn't see me.
They talked as if I could communicate back [which I couldn't], as if I was still physically there.
They were upset too when UNM came by and told them they were short of one person that shift - they insisted that I'm still around, but UNM says that I'm dead, so I'm permanently off the roster now.

Felt weird(er) at this point. I'm glad that my nurses still refuse to accept I'm gone. Haha! Then that was when I found out how I died, and how my family are still trying to cope.

The only thing I wondered about was, why the hell was I hanging around my ward after dying?!
Is this what a ghost feels like? I felt like there was something that I had not done yet, which was obviously work-related, otherwise I wouldn't be haunting the ward. It was weird, how I accepted that ok, I'm dead, but something's just not right until I figure out what's holding me back.

Talking about ghosts post-night during breakfast with your friends really does screw your imagination.

Doctors really have a weird way of flirting. >.<

He was so happily offering to chop his name stamp ON ME so that it'll be easier to locate him.
Yes, I know we don't deal with ENT cases often, so thank you for letting us know which doctor we should call in case we need something, but really, stamping your name ON MY ARM?!

-_-;

That's not the best part though.
After I saved my arm from his name stamp [deflecting it to the case notes instead], he then offered to sign off on it, and asked if he should leave his number as well. I said fine, it'll make our lives easier to contact him. And the guy happily gave his number and then declared that "waah, you now have a hot date! You know how to call me now!".

UMM. WHAT.

I think I just stared at him in disbelief as he smiled at me and walked off.
Can't really remember anything after that. Is this what trauma does to your memory?

I think part of me died earlier today.
You messaged me on FB, wishing me a happy nurses' day.
